Shang Shung Institute - Sponsored Walk

Inspired by Ben Brooks's recent example of a sponsored half-marathon for Truoru medical gompa, Julian Chase is planning a walk to contribute to raising funds for the Shang Shung Institute's projected Complete Works of Chögyal Namkhai Norbu.

Julian plans to walk the South Downs Way from Winchester to Eastbourne and then return via the North Downs Way from Dover to Guildford (which is part of the ancient Pilgrims' Way). The walk will start around 20 Jul 2009, and should take about 3 weeks there & back (all being well...)

100% of what is pledged will be donated to the Shang Shung Institue. Donors can pledge a simple lump sum via the Paypal button below - Julian undertakes to walk a minimum of 100 miles (i.e. the South Downs Way) to justify any lump sums pledged.
